From May 15th to 21st 2025, on the occasion of the prestigious NYCxDESIGN Festival, Cappellini brings to New York a curated selection of key pieces from its new 2025 collection, unveiled just a few weeks earlier during the Milano Design Week.
The exhibition comes to life at Spazio Cappellini at Poltrona Frau, set in the evocative surroundings of Madison Avenue, an exceptional location in the heart of Manhattan. Here, Cappellini’s pieces create an immersive experience that blends innovation, aesthetics, and artisanal craftsmanship, offering an evolved vision of contemporary living.
Among the standout pieces on display are the Reti-co storage unit by Daisuke Kitagawa, inspired by traditional Japanese shoji screens; the Mathare table system by Giacomo Moor, born from a humanitarian initiative led by the Milanese designer; and the Giunto side tables by Antrei Hartikainen, which merge the precision of Nordic woodworking with the essential elegance of signature design. Also featured are the striking Red Bookcase by Rejo Studio, the Kwado armchair by Sebastian Herkner, the Selettiva Cantù chair by Giulio Cappellini, and the Combi Center table, a re-edition of a historic 1963 project by Joe Colombo.
The new Cappellini collection is seamlessly integrated into a display space shared with some of the most iconic brands in Italian design, including Poltrona Frau, Ceccotti Collection, Officine Gullo, and Sahrai Milano—a synergy that celebrates the excellence of Made in Italy and contemporary design on an international scale.
