Raphael Navot was born in Gerusalemme, in 1977. After having received his degree from the Design Academy of Eindhoven, in Holland, he decided to settle permanently in Paris.
He is dedicated to expressing his creativity on multiple fronts, and likes to describe himself as a versatile designer with a multidisciplinary approach to the field and to the design process.
For Cappellini, he has created a hybrid piece that can be transformed according to the needs of whoever is using or experiencing it. In his POH (Patchwork Oval Hemisphere) table or bench, Raphael Navot expresses his love for creative paths that break free from definitions or divisive constraints.
Among his primary collaborations are important names in the business such as: Venini, David Lynch, Tollman’s - Alessi, Molteni/Dada, Renault, Design Museum Holon, Swarovski, Hearts on Fire, Arthus Bertrand and Mudum.
