Nik Aelbrecht is a Belgian designer. He holds a degree in architecture from Luca School of Arts in Brussels,  Strathclyde University in Glasgow and Furniture Design at Thomas More, Mechelen (Belgium).

After being a designer for multiple architecture and design studio’s, he extended his focus to furniture design and development. He gained expertise in several disciplines from tailor-made metal furniture to designing high-end kitchen system.
In 2020, Nik Aelbrecht founded his own design studio in Brussels, Belgium.
Nik Aelbrecht designs as he is: inquisitive, intuitive, genuine, smooth but straight-forward. Thriven by a good vibe, looking for the finest line. Simple, but generous. He formulates designs that are seemingly effortless, but profoundly complex.

Now the studio collaborates with several brands and architecture offices, offering design and development solutions for a variety of objects ranging from doorhandles to tailored-made aluminum kitchens.
