Appia Contract GmbH
In the heart of Lausanne, just steps from the train station and the historic city center, the Alpha and Palmiers by Fassbind hotels recently underwent a complete renovation led by Appia Contract GmbH, a company specialized in delivering tailor-made projects for the international hospitality and residential sectors.
The two properties feature numerous designer suites, fully equipped meeting rooms for business events, two restaurants, a modern gym, and a wellness area dedicated to guest relaxation. The renovation encompassed both private rooms and shared spaces, following a full-scale contract design approach.
In this context, Cappellini collaborated with the renowned Studio Aisslinger, delivering a curated selection of custom-made furnishings specifically developed for the hospitality industry.
A standout piece in the project is the Hobo Contract sofa by Werner Aisslinger and Tina Bunyaprasit—a modular seating system designed for high-traffic environments, combining flexibility, comfort, and durability. The installation is completed by a series of bespoke furnishings conceived by the Berlin-based studio and crafted by Cappellini using premium materials, tailored finishes, and a production approach centered on quality and longevity.
The result is a warm, contemporary space where design becomes an experience—not just an aesthetic. With this project, Cappellini reaffirms its leadership in high-end hospitality, offering contract solutions that blend brand identity, comfort, and functional excellence.
