Continuously flowing ribbons of laser-cut metal compose the Ribbon stool by Nendo, the team of designers headed by architect Oki Sato.
A recipient of the Red Dot Award, iF Products Design Award and Furniture Design Award, this stool is made of sheet metal derived from a single sheet, folded to give the impression that it is twisting and folding at the ideal height to ensure maximum stability.
The Ribbon stool range includes high and low versions, available in matte lacquered finish in white, black, red, yellow and blue. For added comfort, the seat can also be equipped with a magnetic cushion, padded with polyurethane foam and covered in a selection of leathers and fabrics from the collection.
