DROP

Nendo

2012

An ingenious challenge against the force of gravity, the Drop, by Nendo, is a two-sided column bookshelf offered in 3 different heights. The peculiarity of this design is the study of a poetic and exclusive colour palette that was inspired by natural elements evocative of Japan: from the pink buds of the cherry blossoms to the warm grey of stones found in brooks.

The Drop bookshelves are made of matte lacquered laser-cut sheet metal; the shortest version is also perfect as a bedside table.
