Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec
The brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec made their debut in the design world with their first important job for Issey Miyake, in 2000.
In only a few years they published two monographs, “Catalogue de Raison” and the 2003 publication by Phaidon of a collection of images of their work.
Considered rising stars on the international stage, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec offer a contemporary yet rigorous approach to design, introspective but still passionate. Their pieces are authentic examples of “micro architecture”, so versatile that they can be used for multiple purposes, managing to add character and transform the spaces in which they are placed.
One of Cappellini’s best-sellers, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec’s iconic signature Cloud bookshelf, now restyled for a version made of wood, the Spring armchair and the Basket 011 sofa.
