Designed entirely by the celebrated Japanese studio, the new Kashiyama Daikanyama shopping centre, in Tokyo, hosts the iconic Peg armchair and Ribbon stool, conceived for Cappellini by Nendo: the perfect element for accenting interiors which are characterized by mixed materials and subtle transitions between textures and colours.
Designed entirely by the celebrated Japanese studio, the new Kashiyama Daikanyama shopping centre, in Tokyo, hosts the iconic Peg armchair and Ribbon stool, conceived for Cappellini by Nendo: the perfect element for accenting interiors which are characterized by mixed materials and subtle transitions between textures and colours.
Commissioned by the renowned clothing brand Onward Holdings, the centre blends harmoniously with the surrounding urban landscape thanks to the architecture based upon the interplay between staggered boxes interspersed to form terraces upon which the upper floors rise: a clear reference to the word “yama” (meaning “mountain” in Japanese).
