Michela Catalano and Ilaria Marelli both hold degrees in architecture and industrial design. Their professional partnership began in 1999.

Among their many projects in the fields of product design, communications and interior design, Catalano e Marelli created the Cannot table, which was welcomed into the Cappellini catalogue.

Each have also accrued vast individual professional experiences. Michela Catalano has participated in numerous competitions and has worked in Italy and Chile, in addition to providing consulting for Cappellini’s Research and Development. Ilaria Marelli has become specialized as a sound designer and participated in numerous photography competitions; she collaborates with the Polytechnic of Milan for the laboratories in industrial and environmental design. She currently works for Nemo, Zanotta and Bosa Ceramiche.
