Inspired by the city cars that casually scoot around the streets of Milan, such as the famous Fiat 500, the Peg Armchair has a low, rounded shape, resting atop solid ash wood legs with a bleached, oak-stained, wengé-stained or black-stained finish. The legs perforate both sides of the backrest: thanks to this detail, the Nendo studio ably provides proper back support and ideal comfort for anyone sitting in this small armchair.
Peg Armchairs are equipped with fixed upholstery in the fabrics and leathers of the collection; the seat and back rest can be mixed and matched as desired from amongst the selected covers.
Since 2002, under the guidance of architect Oki Sato, the collective of professionals united under the name Nendo has come to represent a cultured and refined alternative to the self-celebratory and self-referential design scene.
