From 12-20 September 2026, Cappellini takes part in the eighth edition of the Lake Como Design Festival, an annual highlight dedicated to international design culture.

This year’s edition revolves around the central theme of "Confine" (Boundary), exploring the idea not as a line of division, but as a threshold of encounter, connection, and dynamic dialogue. It invites a reflection on the space between boundaries and relationships, identity and alterity, and the architectural definition of a space and its ability to connect with another.

Set within the historic Villa del Grumello, a dedicated room pays tribute to AG Fronzoni and his radical, uncompromising approach to minimalism. At the core of the display is a curated selection of iconic pieces from the Fronzoni ’64 collection, showcasing the clarity, structural power, and enduring relevance of his design philosophy — a rigorous discipline rooted in essential reduction, geometry, and pure form.

The exhibition brings together three milestones designs from the collection: Fronzoni ’64 Chair, recently distinguished with the prestigious Compasso d’Oro for Product Lifetime Achievement, Fronzoni ’64 Table and Fronzoni ’64 Armchair.
