For his first collaboration with Cappellini, designer Jangir Maddadi created an outdoor furniture collection intended to capture “the spirit of summer, when everything feels happier and more carefree.” The Vendicari Lido outdoor chair, with its flowing, rounded lines inspired by classic 1930s garden furniture, takes its name from the island of Vendicari in Sicily, evoking the same freshness and lightness of the Mediterranean summer breeze.

Crafted entirely from aluminium, a sustainable and durable material ideal for outdoor use, the Vendicari Lido chair combines a bold, elegant, and contemporary design, perfect for terraces, gardens, and contract spaces. The flat profiles and supporting rods are finished with a textured powder-coated coating in Cappellini’s three standard outdoor colours: pure white for a sense of absolute lightness, violet blue reminiscent of the sea, and oxide red creating a direct connection with nature. The removable polyester pad with a water-repellent cover is fully removable and secured to the frame with straps and snap buttons, allowing it to slide between the seat and the backrest.
