Elena Salmistraro presents Out of Scale, a living room storage unit that, through a clever play of scale, transforms an architectural idea into a striking design object.

Crafted with a matte black textured metal frame and ribbed glass, the project draws inspiration from the great masters of the Modern Movement and the architecture of Chicago, reinterpreting iconic details such as the cross-shaped pillar, the distinction between base and top, and transparent surfaces that convey lightness. 

Out of Scale appears to float, combining clean lines, essential geometries, and scale variations to create a dynamic, creative, and poetic space, ideal for residential interiors, offices, and contract projects.
