During Milan Design Week 2026, Cappellini presents CARNET DE VOYAGE, an exhibition curated by Giulio Cappellini that explores the brand’s identity through an ideal journey across cultures and design languages. The project reaffirms the company’s approach to design as an ongoing dialogue between generations, places, shapes, and materials, resulting in visionary collections that transcend geographical and temporal boundaries.

This vision takes shape in an installation that transforms Spazio Cappellini Milano in Via Borgogna into an immersive and evocative experience, guiding visitors along a captivating path. The exhibition unfolds through four symbolic cities — Milan, New York, Dakar, and Tokyo — each expressing a distinct concept within an imaginary journey across four continents. Despite their diversity, these tributes are united by a shared vision: the pursuit of a new harmony and serenity through a truly international design language.

The new proposals of the 2026 collection range from the re-edition of A.B.C. – Aluminum BookCase by Alberto Meda, a modular system combining engineering precision and sustainability, to OUT OF SCALE by Elena Salmistraro, a sculptural storage unit inspired by modernist architecture. The collection expands further with BIG SOFA by BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group, now evolving into new seating typologies, and DUEVOLTE by Antrei Hartikainen, a series of organic, monolithic tables defined by material richness and dynamic forms. Textile design also plays a key role with the A-PUNTI Collection by Carlotta Fortuna, where handcrafted carpets become narrative surfaces blending art, tradition, and sustainability. Completing the offering, Cappellini introduces new finishes and materials across iconic pieces, including marble tops for LOCHNESS by Piero Lissoni and GIUNTO, as well as updated finishes for GONG and the PEACOCK armchair, reaffirming the brand’s commitment to experimentation and timeless elegance.
