Antonio Facco was born in Milan. His numerous collaborations with architects and designers, during his academic studies at the IED in Milan, led him to found Dedra, in 2011: a multi-disciplinary channel for design and visual arts that fosters the dialogue between young creatives with diverse skills and different geographic locations (Milan, Italy – Urbino, Italy – Brighton, UK).
While still a student, his works were exhibited during the Fuorisalone in Milan; upon receiving his diploma in Interior Design, he began collaborating with Cappellini on displays and visual communication. It was during this time that Antonio Facco created the Duo modular vases, that then became a part of the Cappellini catalogue. In this project, the study of form is conceived as a debate between formal impulsivity and contemplative research on material limits and new technologies.
The most intimate core of his aesthetic vision lies in his curiosity and transversality, along with his desire to tell stories that move people to identify themselves in his creative choices.
