Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec
2005

A casual, relaxed appeal characterizes the Basket sofa, created for Cappellini by the French designer-duo, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. The collection, composed of a two and three-seater sofa and a wide armchair, provides the opportunity to play with chromatic pairings, both pop and classic.

The Basket sofa is supported by a matte varnished metal structure in white, red, mud or black. The removable covering is available in the fabrics and leathers from the collection; the cushion covers can also be made to blend different fabrics and leathers.

The top cushions are stitched to the large cushion below, and fastened to the structure with velcro. The backrests are interconnected by zipper, and the armrests sewn to the backrest. The loose back and arm cushions are the same size and density.

With Basket sofas, designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, optimal comfort and maximum colour customization are guaranteed.
