A fully immersive experience in pure, essential, concrete design. A real Cappellini experience. This is how the brand led by art director Giulio Cappellini pictures its exhibition concept on the occasion of 2024 Milan Design Week. A microcosm that well represents the evolutions of contemporary society, consolidating its identity: through a successful combination of past and present furnishings, the brand interprets domestic architecture from all over the world and tells of a new ordinary elegance, which focuses on research, innovation, and courage.

The showroom located in Via Borgogna, in the very heart of Durini Design District, features various poetic “islands” where products from the new collection, as well as reissued pieces from the past reinterpreted in a contemporary and emotional way, are displayed in a conceptual and aesthetic continuum.

Inspired by nature, its rigour and its colours, the landscapes of the exhibition space are defined by neutral tones, enlivened by bright colours punctuations.

The pieces by historical designers such as Piero Lissoni, Patricia Urquiola, Barber Osgerby, Nendo, Dimorestudio, Marc Newson and Elena Salmistraro are combined with the strong and evocative works by Daisuke Kitagawa and Hsiang Han Hsu, new protagonists of the international design landscape, following that talent scout vocation representative of Cappellini nature, as well as the ability to carefully investigate the new creativity and its interpreters. Giulio Cappellini says: “… There is a strong need to focus on the product, the real one, the one that works everywhere. This guiding principle is reflected in 2024 new products, which, despite being very different from each other, best express our DNA”.
